You’re applying for a ground level position with Ingram’s Water and Air, LLC at IWAE.com and we are a fast growing company with opportunity for advancement. Starting pay is based on previous experience. Sales/Marketing experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, a fast typist with a keen eye for detail, and able to use data to drive sales. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory. You will also be talking to vendors and onboarding them into our growing list of suppliers. You will work with these suppliers to make sure they find success selling products through various sales channels. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database.
Responsibilities
- Actively seek out new suppliers that compliment the items we currently sell.
- Contact and work with new suppliers to get them selling and growing their business on IWAE.com
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
- Type in data provided directly from vendors
- Create/Maintain spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Communicate with other companies to ensure good customer service and verify that the information IWAE.com transmits is in a usable form and get feedback for future adjustments in data entry processes.
- Learn about HVAC equipment and find ways to make data being worked with to support marketing efforts with business partners.
- Opportunity to move to other departments for upward mobility within the company

Skills
- Working with Suppliers to help them be successful at moving their products
- Understanding of supply chains and EDI
- Proven experience as data entry clerk
- Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
- Advanced understanding of databases
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
- Sales/Marketing experience a big plus
- Great attention to detail
- Bachelor’s Degree
