INTERNAL OPPORTUNITY: PRODUCTION CLERK
LOCATION: SAN MIGUEL PRODUCE – OXNARD, CA.
SHIFT: DAY (MON-SAT, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
REPORTS TO: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR / ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR
About the Opportunity:
Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Production Clerk position to support production operations by maintaining accurate and timely production records, completing data entry, and distributing required documentation to appropriate departments. Ensure production information is organized, accurate, and available to support operational and reporting requirements. What You Will Need:
- Minimum of three (3) months of related experience and/or training required.
- Basic computer and data entry skills with the ability to accurately enter, review, and maintain information.
- Ability to learn and effectively use Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, and job-specific
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions, procedures, and production documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to apply practical judgment and follow established procedures to resolve routine issues.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving quantities, weights, measurements, volume, and distance.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, supervisors, and other business contacts.
- Ability to prepare basic written correspondence and documentation.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
