Location: Nash
We are looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. In this role, you will assist Corporate and Local Purchasing departments as well as the Corporate and Local Marketing departments by performing various administrative duties.
More specifically, you will:
Perform various data entry functions in the Company’s operating system, Excel, and Word.
Correct any errors in the Company’s operating system.
Update item/product and vendor records.
Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, and price lists.
Perform expediting, upon request.
Input corporate and divisional sales promotions, as approved.
Manage vendor line/s, as assigned.
Assist Purchasing Manager and Buyers (across the organization) with price changes, item set-up, item maintenance, new vendor set-up, vendor maintenance, alternate sales history entry, item code changes, class changes, lead time entry, system updates to primary information, unit of measure changes, display breakouts, etc.
Assist in creation and sending of Supplier Performance Reviews.
Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Maintain obsolete/inactive inventory lists & system updates.
Purchase minor product lines & supplies.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
Help to manage promotional claims to vendors.
Update pricing and contract pricing in the Company’s operating system.
Run sales and inventory reports as well as other reports.
Agency Sales reconciliation-monthly.
Support, maintain and assist in electronic data transfer processes.
Other duties as assigned.

To apply
for this position, you must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (specifically formulas and pivot tables). Two years of college and six months of related data entry preferred.

The candidate will be compensated based on their work experience and skills, with the minimum starting salary for this position at $17 per hour.
