Job Purpose:
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Purchasing and Sales teams, ensuring the timely and accurate flow of product delivery information. This role plays a key part in maintaining
up-to-date
data that supports operational efficiency and enhances
customer satisfaction
.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update purchase orders with the latest delivery details from carriers.
Follow up with suppliers for missing order confirmations.
Track and request revised estimated arrival dates (ETAs) for unshipped items.
Identify and communicate order or shipping discrepancies to relevant internal teams.
Update internal systems with new shipping schedules, vendor information, and pricing changes.
Provide the Sales team with current ETAs for pending items.
Prioritize and expedite rush purchase order requests as needed.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a administrative, purchasing support role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and review
