Overview
The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting visitors and delivering exceptional customer service assistance. This entails answering calls and fielding the calls accordingly, addressing visitor questions and needs, and providing an overall welcoming environment. They will also perform other clerical duties, including computer work, filing, maintaining records or logs, and sorting mail.
Responsibilities
Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.
Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have.
Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer.
Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received.
Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail.
Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
Maintain the general office filing system.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate degree in Business Administration a plus.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Strong phone, verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
High degree of attention to detail.
Data entry experience.
Working knowledge of general office
