Our client, a leading shipping company headquartered in London, is seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with excellent

communication skills

who can manage front desk operations, greet visitors, handle calls, and support daily office administration in a

dynamic

maritime environment.

Receptionist/Administrator:

Responsibilities:

* Reception & Front Desk:

Meeting and greeting guests, handling the switchboard, managing general enquiries.

* General & Accounting Administrative Support:

Filing expense claims, checking and reconciling company credit cards (currently 4 cards), tracking open/unpaid supplier invoices and setting up payments in the banking system, assisting senior accountants with ad-hoc admin tasks.

* Staff & Visitor Support:

Assisting guests and visiting staff with workspace arrangements and general office needs.

* Meeting Room Coordination:

Organizing meeting rooms, assisting with AV equipment.

* Office Administration:

Ordering supplies, maintaining a well-organized office environment, and acting as the first point of contact for general administrative queries.

* Mail & Deliveries:

Handling post, correspondence, deliveries, and courier bookings.

* Administrative Support:

Filing, expense claims, ad-hoc team-wide administrative tasks.

* Printed Materials & Access Management:

Assisting with business cards, staff access passes, and other printed materials.

* IT Admin Coordination:

Liaising with service providers on account administration and our IT consultancy for general support.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
