Job Description
The Bonanza Clinic is seeking a Receptionist/Pharmacy Technician/Biller to join our team in Bonanza, OR. This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, billing insurance and assisting in the management of drug dispensation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and good computer skills.
Responsibilities:
Customer check-in/check-out, billing for visits, and dispensing and refilling prescriptions.
Serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts. We use paper records not an electronic EMR.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, and filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
Provide patients with refill instructions and answer any questions about refills.
Required Skills:
Previous experience in a medical clinic, pharmacy or other healthcare setting preferred.

Attention to detail
Knowledge of pharmacopeia, ICD-10, and ICD-9 codes preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently with little supervision while completing tasks simultaneously.
Preferred bilingual in Spanish/English
