About us
As the spring approaches so do fleas, ticks and heartworm. Due to the increase in phone calls, new clients and appointments, we have decided to bring on another receptionist to our team. We are a very busy small animal clinic in Kincheloe, MI. We are professional, very fast-paced and customer-centric. Only those with receptionist experience need apply. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, able to follow directions and can jump right in to get started. Keeping busy is of the utmost importance.
We offer flexible working hours and each employee is required to work 1-2 Saturdaysper month. Candidates must be available for both day and evening shifts as we are open late a few days of the week.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome visitors and pets in a professional manner.
Answer phones and schedule appointments. Document conversations in our computer system. Our phones ring off the hook!
Maintain a clean and organized reception area. Cleaning of exam rooms throughout the day. Vacuuming and mopping the clinic at the end of the night.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, stocking, scanning and uploading.
Assist doctors as needed.
