The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Receptionist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Stamford, CT. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

$21.00 – $25.00/HR to start! W2

Short term contract (Potential to extend/convert based on performance/budget) (M-F 8AM – 5PM Flexible on Fridays, unless needed for the day)

Responsibilities include:

Front Desk Operations:

Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees with the utmost professionalism and warmth. Ensure that all guests sign in and are aware of, and follow visitor protocols.

Focus on delivering an elevated hospitality experience by providing a genuine, authentic yet professional interaction with everyone.

Phone & Email Management: Answer and direct incoming calls in a courteous and efficient manner. Monitor general email inboxes and respond appropriately or escalate inquiries.

Administrative Support:

Provide general administrative support for facilities, mailroom, cultural center administration and operation, as deemed appropriate by those leaders.

Be Proactive in nature. Anticipates the needs of our guests / clients and offers solutions or support without asking.

Office Coordination:

Maintain a clean and organized reception area at all times. Coordinate with facilities team to ensure supplies, equipment, and refreshments are well-stocked

Will be Knowledgeable of the building and workplace to assist in questions relative to these areas.

Manage and support with any requests for the booking platform and ensure all changes in seating assignments are accurate

Security & Compliance:

Partner with the security team to ensure visitor badges are issued appropriately

Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company policies regarding sensitive information.

Assist in Life Safety emergency procedures.

Collaboration:

Serve as the first point of contact between departments, clients, and external visitors

Partner with internal teams to assist with special projects or initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum HSD/GED required.

Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a receptionist, front desk associate or office manager, ideally in a corporate/professional environment.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with office technology (multi-line phone systems, video conferencing tools, etc.).

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor. Demonstrated ability to address issues calmly and resolve matters efficiently.

Organization: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Interpersonal Skills: Warm, approachable, and customer-focused, with the ability to build positive relationships across a diverse range of individuals.
