Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, the receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive experience and supporting the smooth daily operations of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage provider calendars
Check in and check out patients, verify insurance, and collect copays
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using our EHR system
Handle incoming faxes, emails, and other administrative communications
Support the clinical team with various administrative tasks as needed
Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office or behavioral health setting preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Professional, calm, and compassionate demeanor
Proficiency with computers and scheduling software; experience with EHR systems is a plus
