The Opportunity  The Human Resources Department seeks an incumbent for the position of Recruitment and Selection Officer to provide highly professional and efficientsupport and service for effective delivery of recruitment andselection programs and services. A key deliverable of the positionis to actively support recruitment of highly qualified UAENationals in the organization. The incumbent also supports thedelivery of effective services in the areas of: prehiringorientation and on boarding regular and temporary employeesrecruitment and process improvements.
The Responsibilities   The Recruitment and Selection Officer will work as part of a team of HRprofessionals. A large emphasis of the job will be on providingprehiring orientation and on boarding support to Faculty and staffrecruitment. The incumbent will also be accountable for creatingspreadsheets databases and reports related to R&S functionsin particular providing administrative support for approvals in ZU.Under the guidance of the R&S Manager/designate the Recruitment and Selection Officer:
Recruitment Provides support to the Recruitment Consultant and Senior Officers with high volume recruitment for Faculty and Staff positions with special emphasis on Recruitment ofUAE Nationals.
Post job adverts for Faculty and Staff positions ensuring a high level ofprofessionalism of marketing materials in print web and othermedia; ensures compliance with ZU standards and descriptions.
Processes and maintains payments for job advertisements trackingcosts to ensureefficiency.
Scheduling and attendinginterviews for Staffpositions Maintains vendorrelationships with ad agencies newspapers webbased recruitmentmarketing sites to ensure cost effective delivery of services;discusses appropriate rates and package arrangements; maintainscontracts; tracks costs and financialpayments.
Maintains all aspects ofrecruiting temporary administrative employees working with internalclients (Deans/Directors) to define and meet their requirementswithin tight timelines advertising screening selection assessment.
Tracks and monitors all financial aspects of the temporaryworkforce.
Works extensively withpotential candidates providing and crafting indepth information onthe University benefits entitlements and job opportunities topotential applicants.
Corresponds andliaises extensively with selected candidates to ensure theirinformation needs are met and to obtain the required data anddocumentation for the hiring process and relocation to the UAE asrequired.
Uses Oracle Irecruit toeffectively screen source and managecandidates.  Pre Hiring Orientation  and Onboarding Maintains the relationship with newfaculty hires from time of offer to arrival in the UAE andorientation at the University. Ensures governmental/ZU requirementsare met advising HC and stakeholders of changes to requirements;designs and implements processes to ensure all onboarding protocolsruns efficiently and smoothly across each functional area; followsup with hiring managers and new hires with changing requirementsinformation and outcomes.
Oversees the logistics of the hiring ofinternational faculty and staff and their families including visasflights hotels schedules and orientation activities. Uses owndiscretion to make decisions and manage the process representingthe University in a highly professional and efficientmanner.
