Southern Regional AHEC is actively recruiting for a Full Time Registered/Certified Medical Assistant to perform patient care responsibilities and administrative support in a fast-paced Family Medicine Residency Program. This position will serve as backup in the clinical and administrative departments of FMC; providing coverage and support as needed to ensure continuity of service and operational efficiency. This includes stepping in during staff absences, high volume periods, or when special projects require additional resources. The RMA/CMA/Administrative Support will play a key role in enhancing patient experience and maintaining the quality of healthcare services provided, responsible for managing the entry and tracking of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) orders through the Parachute Portal, responsible for conducting follow-up phone calls and scheduling Transition of Care (TOC) and Chronic Care Management (CCM) visits promptly to ensure that patients receive timely care. Requires at least 6 months clinical experience, appropriate nursing/medical skills and credentials. Requires clinical experience in physician’s office or outpatient setting. Monday through Friday (Monday thru Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.). Scribe Certified or Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
