We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations. Responsibilities
Greet clients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using salon management software.
Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Process payments accurately using cash registers and ensure proper handling of transactions.
Provide information about salon services, products, and promotions to clients, focusing on upselling opportunities.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming environment for clients.
Assist with inventory management, including product demos and restocking supplies as needed.
Support salon staff by supervising front desk operations during peak hours.
Experience
Previous experience in customer service or retail environments is preferred; experience in a spa or salon environment is a plus.
Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Experience in sales or upselling techniques is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve our community.
