Job Summary

The SAP SD Supporter will be part of the Global SAP Support team, providing day-to-day functional and technical support for SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) processes across ECCO's global operations. This role is responsible for monitoring and resolving SAP SD incidents, supporting Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, collaborating with SAP consultants on system enhancements, and empowering business users through documentation and training.

Working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams, the SAP SD Supporter will help ensure stable, efficient, and high-quality SAP operations while supporting ECCO's global digital transformation initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on SAP SD expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and handle SAP tickets.
  • Provide day-to-day functional or technical troubleshooting for SAP SD to ensure business continuity, and identify whether an issue is a user error or requires escalation.
  • Create and maintain SD/O2C documentation for business users (user guidance).
  • Conduct training sessions to empower business users with essential SAP SD/O2C skills and knowledge.
  • Support SAP SD enhancements by collaborating with SAP consultants and assisting in testing new features or new business flows.

Experience & Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP SD, with familiarity in finance-related processes.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP SD / Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations, including sales order management, stock allocation, ATP, pricing procedures, delivery processing, shipment, billing, partner determination, and output determination.
  • Understanding of Sales & Distribution (SD) / Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes and integration with other SAP modules (MM, FICO, and WM).
  • Good understanding of Warehouse Management (SAP/WMS), 3PL, 4PL, and retail applications.
  • Familiarity with EDI, IDoc, Batch Jobs, and system integration/interfaces.
  • Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong analytical, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform standard SAP SD customizing.
  • Debugging skills to trace and analyze issues are an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to guide and train business users, escalate critical issues, and communicate fluently in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively within cross-functional and multicultural teams, prioritize tasks, ensure follow-up, and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP Solution Manager, or Jira).
