Position Summary

DESCRIPTION:

Provides logistical support to the Registrar’s Office, including managing correspondences and communication for student registrations, Advanced Placement, CLEP scores, Off-Campus Study Approval forms, transfer credit evaluations, and assists with catalog updates. Manages and updates files, reports, schedule of classes, and changes to schedule of classes. Assist with coordinating meetings/special events and provide support for campus/office events. Monitor and respond to inquiries within multiple office email aliases, including issues associated with scheduling and CAPP auditing software. Assist with design and updating of the Registrar Office website, announcements, print and digital publications. Manage special projects as assigned. Collaborates within and outside the office to assure that the office is responsive to the needs and policies of the academic community.

To successfully support curriculum management activities.

To successfully support students and provide information concerning services provided by the College.

Essential Functions

Provide logistical support (handle incoming calls/emails, mail, office reception, manage correspondence, rooms/office space, forms, and appointments). Including student registration, Advanced Placement, CLEP scores, Off-Campus Study Approval forms, transfer credit evaluations, and catalog updates. 30%

Manage and update files, reports, schedule of classes, and changes to the schedule of classes. 25%

Monitor and respond to inquiries within multiple office email aliases, including issues associated with scheduling and CAPP auditing software. 20%

Assist with design and updating of Registrar Office website, announcements, print and digital publications (website and electronic forms). 10%

Manage special projects as assigned by Registrar. 5%

Provide support for additional areas under the Registrar’s Office 10%

Experience and Education Required

High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree preferred

A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in an administrative or support role.

Possesses understanding of student records policies and FERPA

Banner experience preferred
