About The Role

This is a full-time position based in Kiama, NSW supporting the team at Greg and Steve Norris Accountants and Business Advisors. As the Secretary/Administration Assistant, you will be an integral part of the office, providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage the office’s day-to-day administrative tasks including answering phone calls, emails, and client inquiries.

Organise and maintain filing systems for both physical and electronic records.

Schedule appointments, meetings, and client consultations for accounting staff.

Prepare and proofread reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.

Assist with invoicing, billing, and tracking client payments.

Maintain office supplies and ensure smooth office operations.

Coordinate with clients and vendors to schedule appointments and manage office communications.

Provide general clerical support to the team, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a similar secretarial or administrative role, ideally within a professional services or accounting environment would be beneficial but not essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and the wider team

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands

Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work

A friendly, approachable and adaptable attitude
