Our client, a national law firm located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, is actively seeking a Securities Paralegal. This firm is highly regarded and well established and can therefore offer all the perks, including a competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits plan that includes a pension.
Job responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
Prepare and file SEDI and SEDAR filings
Draft submission and filing letters to the TSXV
Draft private placement and financial documentation (ie. directors’ resolutions, price reservation form, notice of private placement, treasury orders; reports of exempt distribution)
Draft news releases
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 2 years’ of experience in securities law as a paralegal
Demonstrated ability to handle and effectively prioritize work
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 per year dependent on experience.
