Senior Database Admin
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, security, and reliability of our database infrastructure while supporting business-critical applications.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✅Design, implement, and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases.
✅Monitor and optimize database performance, queries, and indexing.
✅Manage backup, recovery, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR).
✅Administer database security, user roles, and permissions.
✅Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching.
✅Collaborate with development and DevOps teams.
✅Troubleshoot database issues and implement best practices.
🎯 Qualifications
✅Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
✅5+ years of Database Administration experience in SQL and/or NoSQL environments.
✅Strong expertise in MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL (MongoDB/Redis is an advantage).
✅Experience with performance tuning, backup & recovery, replication, and HA/DR.
✅Knowledge of cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.) is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
