Role Purpose
Execute AMAL’s overall Commercial & Marketing (CML) strategy relating to the planning and management of revenue management for AMAL routes. Support cross-departmental communication to ensure smooth implementation of AMAL’s CML strategy.
Key Accountability
- Execute inventory optimisation (contract seats, GIT seats, FIT seats, and other CML-related allocations)
- Manage system parameters governing availability, reserved seats, and data validation on route performance
- Take corrective action based on historical performance to maximise revenue
- Support seat confirmation across respective segments (1A reservation, iflyamal.com, Group Portal)
- Proactively communicate inventory strategies to ensure revenue targets are met
- Execute pricing activities (ATPCo, RateGain, Power BI, Group Portal, and other airline systems)
- Set competitive pricing for year-round fares, promotional fares, and other sub-product fares
- Analyse fare levels, rules, and conditions to ensure alignment with AMAL’s CML strategy
- Proactively communicate pricing strategies to ensure revenue targets are met
Qualification
- Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, IT, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years’ working experience in airline commercial-related areas
- Revenue Management/Commercial experience preferred
Areas of Experience
- Ability to multitask using optimisation tools relevant to airline and AMAL CML operations
- Proven ability to meet revenue targets through quality pricing activities under tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate specialist knowledge, strategies, and results to relevant stakeholders
- Proficiency in Power BI and other commercial reporting tools
