As part of a broader financial services group, the company powers a range of trading platforms, including one of Australia’s leading online trading platforms, while also supporting backend market operations.
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and organized Senior HR Executive cum Office Administrator to support both HR and office operations for our Kuala Lumpur office. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR processes, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and maintaining an efficient workplace for a team of 150+ employees.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of HR and administrative responsibilities, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Coordinate onboarding and new hire administration.
- Prepare HR documents and maintain accurate employee records.
- Track leave, probation, and performance review documentation.
- Respond to day-to-day HR enquiries and support HR operations.
- Support payroll-related administration, office expense records, and payment processing.
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement, wellness, and culture initiatives.
- Support internal communications and HR projects aligned with business goals.
- Provide backup support for office administration and vendor coordination when required.
Office Administration
- Manage office supplies, inventory, and general office logistics.
- Coordinate vendors, maintenance, repairs, and office services.
- Maintain office records, agreements, and administrative documentation.
- Process staff reimbursements and office-related payments.
- Assist with travel arrangements, company events, and office activities.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and office policies.
- Support departmental reporting and periodic operational data updates.
Requirements
- Min 4+ years of experience in an HR or HR & Admin role.
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Good understanding of local Employment Act and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting employee engagement or learning & development initiatives is an advantage.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with HRIS (such as WorkDay and JustLogin) is an added advantage.
