Senior HR Manager
Summary of Functions:
As the Senior HR Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor and HR leader for key functions within our company. Your role will ensure both strategic alignment and operational execution of all HR initiatives. This hands-on position will balance overarching talent strategies with daily HR management responsibilities, including employee relations, workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee engagement.
You will lead a team of two, work closely with senior leadership, and play a vital role in our dynamic, fast-paced company, which has remained stable and continues to grow despite industry challenges.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
– Be a Strategic Partner: Advise leadership on HR programs, organizational development, talent management, and workforce planning.
– Drive Talent Success: Oversee succession planning and leadership development to ensure we have the right people in the right roles.
– Foster an Engaging Culture: Promote performance management, employee engagement, and learning and development programs.
– Ensure Compliance and HR Operations Excellence: Manage employee relations and the implementation of policies.
– Collaborate and Innovate: Work with teams across Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Corporate Functions to align HR practices with business needs.
Organizational Relationships:
This position is a hybrid role. You will supervise two direct reports and may interact with vendors related to HR services. You will interface directly with and have a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Vice Presidents of designated functions.
Minimum Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal, or a related field
– 7+ years of HR leadership experience
– Proven track record of excellence in various HR functional areas, focusing on people development and employee communications
– Knowledgeable in HR systems and tools; proficient in Microsoft Office suite and related software
– Strong understanding of employee relations with the ability to educate and coach leaders
– Strong analytical skills and a data-oriented mindset
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed, and changing environment
Desired Traits and/or Experience:
– SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification is highly preferred
– 5+ years of experience in a large organization (annual revenue of $500M or more)
– Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
– Honesty and integrity
– Exceptional organizational, project management, and time management skills
– Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities
– Capability to manage uncertainty and change effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $155,000.00 per year
