We are seeking a talented Senior People & Culture (HR) Manager to join our growing team!
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
5+ years experience in HR, payroll, and employee relations in the hospitality industry
A dynamic, positive personality that is ambitious and self-motivated
High standards and an impressive sense of urgency
The ability to support multiple locations by maintaining HR, payroll, and benefits systems and processes
Bilingual (Spanish/English or other languages) a plus
True passion and care for people and a love for the restaurant industry
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Maintain all HR Administrative functions (Employee Personnel Files, Compliance of I-9 Forms, and ensuring all records are up to date).
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies that support the company’s business goals and long-term growth.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts.
Conduct thorough, unbiased investigations of employee complaints including harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and policy violations.
Coach and support managers and employees in conflict resolution and effective communication practices.
Recommend policy updates and ensure compliance with evolving legal and regulatory standards.
Provide training to managers and employees on employee relations topics including workplace behavior, performance management, and anti-harassment.
Support managers in handling performance management, corrective actions, and disciplinary procedures.
Promote a positive workplace culture through proactive initiatives that support employee satisfaction, inclusion, and retention.
Manage compensation structures, salary benchmarking, and benefits program design
Support succession planning and leadership development.
Partner with leadership on engagement strategies and organizational development programs.
Assist the Front and Back of House for all recruiting needs.
Lead the onboarding/exit interview process for all employees.
Facilitate and/or coordinate all employee trainings and onboarding for the company (i.e.- Sexual Harassment Training, Manager Onboarding, etc.
Respond to all unemployment inquiries and employment verification requests.
Maintain up to date knowledge of all laws and regulations affecting the company.
