Job Description
The Senior Plant Human Resources Manager will be accountable for delivering human resources leadership for a manufacturing facility. This hands-on position is responsible for driving the implementation of HR processes and initiatives and promoting a results oriented and performance driven culture.
The Senior Plant Human Resources Manager should have:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for leading union relationships
Experience with data management
Ability to manage the discipline process
Expertise coaching and counseling employees
Experience supervising payroll
A service-oriented approach to working with others
The Senior Plant Human Resources Manager will:
Manage labor relations (including involvement in union meetings, grievances, and negotiations)
Drive Talent Management processes
Conduct employee investigations
Manage and maintain adequate staffing levels for the plant
Qualifications
Bachelor degree required
At least 5 years of professional HR experience, preferably in a 24/7 environment
Previous experience in a union environment
Must have experience with California Labor Laws
Proficient in MS Office, with the ability to learn new systems and programs
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 – $130,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
