We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee housing construction projects in Mersing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth site operations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring work is completed on schedule and in compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within timelines.
- Plan and organize daily site operations, including manpower, materials, and equipment allocation.
- Liaise with sub-contractors, monitor progress, and promptly resolve any issues that may cause project delays.
- Ensure all works meet required quality standards and comply with safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and submit site progress reports, issue logs, and relevant documentation as required.
- Identify potential delays or risks and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the superior or management.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction, preferably in housing development.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications.
- Able to read and interpret building plans and site drawings accurately.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must possess own transport and be willing to be based at project sites within Mersing, Johor.
