Job Summary
We are seeking skilled SOC Analysts – L1 to join our cybersecurity operations team responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats across enterprise environments. The SOC Analyst L1 is responsible for 24×7 of continuous security monitoring, initial alert investigation, event classification, and escalation of potential security incidents to relevant teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor security alerts, events, and notifications from SOC monitoring platforms.
• Perform initial triage and analysis of security alerts.
• Validate potential threats and determine severity levels.
• Monitor SIEM dashboards, security logs, and threat intelligence feeds.
• Create and manage security incident tickets according to SOC procedures.
• Perform basic investigation using: Log analysis, IP/domain reputation checks, User activity review, Endpoint event review
• Escalate confirmed security incidents to relevant engineering teams based on severity and escalation procedures.
• Follow SOC playbooks, escalation procedures, and response workflows.
• Perform daily security health checks and operational reporting.
• Maintain accurate incident records and documentation.
• Support vulnerability scanning and compliance monitoring activities.
Required Skills & Experience
• 1+ years of experience in SOC, cybersecurity operations, IT security, or IT support.
• Good understanding of Cybersecurity concepts, Security threats and attack techniques, TCP/IP networking fundamentals, Windows/Linux operating systems, Common security events and indicators of compromise (IOC)
• Familiarity with SIEM concepts, Security monitoring tools, Ticketing systems, Incident 6management processes
• Strong analytical and investigative mindset
• Ability to identify and respond to cyber threats
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Continuous learning mindset in cybersecurity technologies
