Inn Cahoots — Austin, TX & Nashville, TN
Social Media & Administrative Coordinator
(The person who posts the rooftop sunset AND orders the printer ink. A true hero.)
Full-time · Austin & Nashville · Marketing + Ops · In-person in Nashville
ABOUT INN CAHOOTS
Inn Cahoots is Austin's first large-party boutique hotel — a creative campus built for connection, live music, and group experiences nobody forgets (or partially forgets, responsibly). We're now opening in Nashville, between 1st and 2nd on Church, with 17 group travel suites, a Buffalo Trace Tasting Room, a rooftop club with a pool, and a speakeasy. It's a lot. It's great. We need help.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Social Media & Administrative Coordinator who can make our Instagram look like a vibe and make sure the calendar invite actually has a Zoom link. This is a dual role for someone with range — equal parts creative brain and operational spine. You'll be the person who keeps Inn Cahoots looking polished online while simultaneously keeping the chaos behind the scenes from becoming a full emergency.
This is not a "we'll figure out the admin part later" situation. The admin part is real, it matters, and we will absolutely notice if you're only excited about the social side. We've been burned before. We're healing.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
Social Media
- 01 Own and execute content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook for both Austin and Nashville — because yes, both cities need love.
- 02 Shoot and edit short-form video content on-site: rooftop sunsets, speakeasy vibes, guests doing memorable things (with permission, obviously).
- 03 Manage our content calendar with the same discipline you'd manage a personal grudge — consistent, strategic, never late.
- 04 Write captions that sound like a human being wrote them. A fun human. Not a robot who just discovered the word "curated."
- 05 Engage with comments, DMs, and tags in real time — including the ones that require a little diplomacy and a deep breath.
- 06 Track performance metrics and report on what's working, what flopped, and what we should absolutely try again differently.
- 07 Coordinate with the events team to capture and promote live music nights, rooftop activations, and private buyouts.
Admin & Operations Support
- 08 Receive all of our orders (and there are a LOT) in our storage facility. Open them (unboxing could be fun content!) 🙂
- 09 Own vendor communications, contract tracking, and follow-ups so nothing falls through the cracks (we have a lot of cracks, we're working on it).
- 10 Maintain organized shared drives, SOPs, and documentation that team members can actually find and understand.
- 11 Support ownership and leadership with research, reporting, presentations, and whatever else makes the business run smoother.
YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF…
- You have a portfolio of social content that made someone stop scrolling — and a filing system that made someone weep with gratitude.
- You can write a fire caption and a professional vendor email in the same hour without an identity crisis.
- You genuinely enjoy making systems. Not "enjoy" like you'll tolerate it. Enjoy like you make folders for fun.
- You've worked in hospitality, events, or a fast-moving creative environment and emerged with your sense of humor intact.
- You know the difference between a Reel and a Story and have thoughts about when to use each one.
- You can handle a live-event curveball (power's out, the band is late, someone's upset about the pool) and still get the content.
- You're available on weekends sometimes. Not all weekends. But sometimes. We have a rooftop. You'll understand once you see it.
HARD NO'S
✕ You use "authentic storytelling" unironically in your cover letter without any actual examples of authentic storytelling.
✕ Your inbox has more than 3,000 unread emails and you're fine with it.
✕ You've described yourself as a "creative" who "doesn't really do the admin stuff." This is half an admin job. It says so in the title.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–4 years of experience in social media, marketing coordination, or executive/administrative support (hospitality or events a major plus)
- Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, and Meta Business Suite — and at least a working relationship with a scheduling tool (Later, Planoly, etc.)
- Basic photo/video editing skills — CapCut, Adobe, Canva, we're not precious about the tool
- Strong written communication skills that can flex from brand voice to business formal
- Highly organized with experience managing calendars, shared docs, and cross-team coordination
- Ability to work across Austin and Nashville — some travel required
WHY THIS ROLE IS UNIQUE
- You'll be the voice of a brand that genuinely has something interesting to say — live music, rooftop pools, speakeasies, and groups of people celebrating life.
- Two cities, two properties, one killer content library in the making.
- You'll work closely with ownership and leadership, not buried under three layers of management.
- You'll actually get to see the impact of your work — in the feed, in the bookings, and occasionally on a rooftop at golden hour.
Inn Cahoots is a place where the hospitality is real, the music is live, and the admin system will be excellent because you built it. Apply if that sounds like your kind of chaos.
