Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Officer role based in Semarang. The Social Media Officer is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across Pomah’s social media platforms, aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. Daily tasks include drafting captions, selecting visuals, scheduling posts, monitoring comments and messages, and responding courteously to followers. The role also involves optimizing social media performance, analyzing basic metrics, supporting campaigns and promotions, and collaborating with marketing and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging about Pomah’s interior and building materials. The Social Media Officer is expected to stay up to date with social media trends relevant to the home and construction sector and recommend improvements to increase reach and engagement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Social Media Content Creation and Writing skills to produce clear, engaging, and brand-appropriate posts.
- Candidates should possess Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to plan campaigns, grow audiences, and improve performance across platforms.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact professionally with audiences and collaborate with internal teams.
- Basic understanding of interior or house building materials, or willingness to learn, is beneficial.
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and use insights to adjust content or strategy is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle a content calendar and multiple platforms.
- Comfort working on-site in Semarang and collaborating in a team-focused, inclusive environment.
- A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is an advantage.
