Salary Range: RM4,000 – RM5,000
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Social Media Operations Specialist to manage user interactions and support daily operations across Discord, GitHub, Reddit, and other digital platforms. This role is well-suited for individuals with a technical background who enjoy problem-solving, user support, and working closely with product and development teams to deliver an excellent user experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Respond to user inquiries and provide operational support through Discord, GitHub, and Reddit platforms.
- Monitor daily platform activities and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain user engagement and a positive user experience across online platforms.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the Product or Development Team in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain FAQs, knowledge base articles, and operational documentation.
- Provide prompt, professional, and accurate responses to user questions and feedback.
- Support the integration and coordination of activities across multiple online platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical or programming background with the ability to communicate effectively with developers on technical matters.
- Experience using or managing platforms such as Discord, GitHub, and Reddit.
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, responsive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Experience in online operations, user support, or platform management is an added advantage.
- Malaysian citizens are preferred.
