Reporting to the DI Manager, your main duties will revolve around scheduling imaging exams and managing essential patient data using the Radiology Information System (RIS). This role encompasses patient interaction and accurate record-keeping to ensure smooth operations in the department. Engaging directly with patients, you’ll enhance their experience while adhering to operational protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage requisitions and schedule imaging exams efficiently
• Update and register patient data in the imaging system
• Serve as the receptionist and assist patients with inquiries
• Retrieve and file digital images and reports for physicians
• Send images and reports to external facilities when needed
Requirements:
• Recognized medical certificate or training in administration
• One year of experience in a relevant patient registration role
• Strong telephone communication skills and accuracy
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Capable of assisting patients in mobility issues
