Position: Staffing Coordinator – Aventura Catering Phoenix Convention Center – Phoenix Convention Center

The Phoenix Convention Center Staffing Coordinator is responsible for assisting management with administrative tasks including, but not limited to schedules, ordering staff, data entry, filing, etc. The Staffing Coordinator will be required to work well with customers, visitors, and employees in a professional and cheerful manner. This position is vital in the movement and positioning of internal staff and temp staffing depending on the size of the event.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for checking schedules, adding temp orders to fill open positions, data entry, various reporting requirements, tracking and logging call outs and attendance issues.

Assists unit management with staffing needs and changes.

Work with team members to answer questions, assist with schedules, and communicate information to HR department.

Operate technology, systems, and software such as Kronos, When I Work and MS Office.

Qualifications

Prior administrative experience preferred and being able to multitask in a high volume fast paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to:
Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Must be able to work weekends as events dictate and bi-lingual preferred.
