Role Description: The Student Service Officer in the Student Services Department (SSD) is responsible for
providing non-academic support to students by managing student records, coordinating events,
conducting student counseling, and maintaining administrative functions. The role also involves
organizing orientation programs, handling logistics, and ensuring a supportive and engaging
environment for students.
Department: Student Services
Reports To: Manager
Shift Timing: 8am-5pm
Office Location: New Baneshwor, Nepal
Key Responsibilities:
● Oversee the day-to-day operations of student support services including counseling,
mentorship, and grievance resolution.
● Ensure smooth functioning of the student helpdesk and response mechanisms for
student queries and concerns.
● Maintain accurate records of student activities, disciplinary actions, and welfare cases.
● Liaise with academic departments and administrative units to support student needs.
● Coordinate and communicate with students and guardians regarding academic progress,
attendance, and other student-related matters.
● Plan and conduct student orientations and student centric programs such as Dashain,
Carnivals, etc.
● Prepare and distribute official letters and other student documents as required.
● Conduct student surveys to collect and analyze feedback from students regarding
academic and non-academic support services.
Job Specification
Required Education Level: Under Graduate (Bachelor)
Required Experience: Freshers can apply or candidates with prior experience in student services,
administration, counseling, or a similar role can also apply.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Education, Psychology, or a
related field.
Key Skills
● Proficiency in MS Office such as Excel, Word.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Good organizational and coordination abilities.
● Ability to handle student interactions with empathy and professionalism.
● Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
