Position Summary
Our client, a leading national ambulatory surgery company, is seeking a Surgery Center Administrator for a high-volume facility with 4 Operating Rooms and 1 Treatment Room. Specialties include ENT, General Surgery, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Oral Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Pain Management.
The Surgery Center Administrator is responsible for comprehensive facility management, including daily operations, regulatory compliance, staff oversight, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all daily operations to ensure effective functioning of the surgery center
Serve as the liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and facility departments
Manage clinical and business operations under direction of the Governing Board
Hire, train, and manage all facility staff
Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and accreditation requirements
Maintain high safety and quality standards
Develop and manage budgets, billing systems, and financial reporting
Lead business development and strategic planning efforts
Identify and act on opportunities for facility growth and service improvement
Qualifications
Experience managing an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or hospital-based surgery department with ASC exposure
Proven track record managing high-volume surgical operations
Excellent leadership, mentorship, and staff development capabilities
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated commitment to quality care and exceptional patient experience
Salary: $145,000 to $160,000 (may have slight flexibility)
Bonus: Target annual bonus of 17%
Relocation Assistance: $4,000 to $8,000
