IIJ Managed Cloud: A managed service that monitors and operates AWS for the Vietnamese market, launched in 2024. This service is operated by IIJ (AWS Advanced Tier Partner) and Serverworks (AWS Premier Tier Service Partner), delivering a quality, fast, reliable product of Japanese standard from consulting, integration, deployment, and management to all businesses using AWS or starting an AWS journey.
Title: System Administrator
Scope of work:
· Participate in providing 24×7 operational production support, incidents, requests, and change management.
· Performs backup/recovery using the Veeam solution.
· Monitoring & troubleshooting incidents regarding server/ hardware/ Storage/ VMware/ database follow standard operating procedure within the agreed-upon SLAs.
· Performing maintenance activities regarding servers (HPE, DELL), software (OS, ESXi, vCenter…) follow standard operating procedures.
· Daily following up with requests via email/phone/ITSM tool.
Work closely with other teams & partners to quickly deliver services and resolve issues for
Skills and Experience:
· +1 years of experience in supporting/managing VMware products.
· Experience with Windows and Linux Server administration.
· Experience working with VMWare: VCenter, ESXI, VMotion, HA, DRS etc…
· Nice to have: Experience in VMware Cloud Director, vRealize Log Insight, NSX-T, vRealize Operations Manager… (will be trained after joining).
· Understanding of storage (SANNAS) connectivity from vSphere, mounting LUNs (iSCSI).
· Logical thinking, disciplined, careful, and honest.
· Ability to research and learn to work effectively.
Intermediate/ advanced speaking, reading, and writing skills in English..
