General Responsibilities:
• Install and configure hardware and software
• Monitor availability and performance of systems
• Perform system backups
• Maintain server procedure and documentation
• Provides support
Job Requirements:
• Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent
• Demonstrated experience performing Unix systems Administration
• Linux system administrator knowledge
• Creation and maintenance of documentation for all areas of responsibility
• Management of standard Linux services
• Strong scripting abilities
• Ability to design, articulate, and implement modern, web-scale distributed systems
• Problem solving capabilities
• Experience automating tasks
• Self-motivated, able to manage own workload and priorities
• Has initiative to propose, plan, implement and drive to completion, improvements to
• development systems
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
Preferred skills
• Experience in NoSQL, Caching and Data Warehousing
• Experience with Linux Containers
• Experience using/managing databases
• Systems integration skills (Interoperability)
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts
• Configuration and management of source code repositories
