Role Description The Takaful Advisor role is a full-time remote position responsible for guiding customers in selecting suitable Takaful products that meet their financial protection and savings needs. On a day-to-day basis, the advisor engages with prospective and existing customers through calls, online meetings, and digital platforms to conduct needs analysis, present tailored solutions, and explain product features in clear, accessible language. The role involves preparing proposals, managing applications, and supporting customers throughout onboarding and policy servicing, including follow-ups and renewals. The advisor is expected to maintain accurate records, comply with regulatory and Shariah guidelines, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues promptly. Regular activities also include achieving defined sales and service targets, participating in training sessions, and staying up to date with market trends and product updates.

Qualifications

  • Ability to provide financial guidance, conduct needs analysis, and recommend appropriate Takaful solutions in line with Islamic principles.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the capacity to communicate clearly and professionally across phone, video, and digital channels.
  • Comfort with remote work tools and digital platforms, including basic proficiency in office software and online customer management systems.
  • Solid understanding of or interest in Takaful, insurance, or financial services; prior advisory or sales experience in these areas is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple customer cases and meet performance targets consistently.
  • Ethical mindset and commitment to regulatory, compliance, and Shariah requirements, with attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Diploma or degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience may be considered.
  • Willingness to learn, participate in ongoing training, and adapt to evolving products, processes, and digital tools.
