YOUR TASKS
- Lead a team of courier to ensure all shipments are picked up and delivered in a timely and efficient manner
- Pick up, handle and deliver time sensitive documents and packages in a safe and punctual manner considering traffic patterns, alternative routes, traffic regulations, and driving conditions in order to meet customer and DHL time requirements
- Ensure all delivery material received is safely delivered to correct consignee
- Report any suspected breach of security or unusual happenings to supervisor immediately
- May assist supervisor in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of lower level couriers
- May assist supervisor in performing Gemba rides to review performance and the proper use of routes and practices
- Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness
- Identify training needs and career development opportunities to drive a high performance team
- Develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance
YOUR PROFILE
- Preferably 3–5 years of relevant experience in courier operations.
