Role Description :

The Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at Apartemen CitraPlaza Nagoya in Batam City. This role is responsible for daily inspection, maintenance, and repair of building facilities, including electrical systems, mechanical equipment, plumbing, and common area utilities. The Technician will respond to resident service requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and building standards. Routine duties include monitoring equipment performance, supporting preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating with vendors when needed, and keeping accurate records of work performed. The Technician will also assist in emergency response situations, such as power outages or system failures, to minimize disruption for residents.

Qualifications :

  • Strong practical skills in building maintenance, including basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, equipment documentation, and maintenance procedures.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, use of tools and measurement instruments, and adherence to safe work practices.
  • Good problem-solving abilities for diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors, colleagues, and residents.
  • Prior experience as a building technician, facility maintenance staff, or related role is highly beneficial.
  • Willingness to work on-site, perform shift or weekend duties if required, and respond to urgent maintenance calls.
  • Relevant vocational training or certification in electrical, mechanical, or building services is an advantage.
