Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technician, based in Penang, Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance and repair work to ensure the hotel’s facilities and equipment are well-functioning. Additional responsibilities include diagnosing and solving technical issues, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will also collaborate with other departments to address and resolve maintenance requests efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Technical proficiency in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting systems, equipment and tools related to hotel operations
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and experience in their installation or repair
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Attention to detail, time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- A commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory standards
- Relevant certifications in technical or maintenance-related fields are an advantage
- Previous experience in facilities or hotel maintenance roles is favorable
