BidCo Agarwood International is a boutique, family-operated agarwood farm and distillery specializing in the cultivation, preparation and distillation of agarwood.
As BidCo expands into estate-based education and experiential tourism, we are seeking a motivated individual to support the development and delivery of the Experience ; BidCo visitor program.
About the Role
The Experience Guide & Marketing Assistant will welcome visitors and lead guided tours of the BidCo estate.
The role involves explaining the history, cultivation and distillation of agarwood, as well as introducing visitors to BidCo’s products and operations.
This position offers practical experience in public speaking, customer engagement, sales and marketing within a distinctive agricultural and fragrance-related business.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome visitors and provide a professional, engaging experience
• Conduct guided tours of the farm and distillation facilities
• Explain agarwood cultivation, preparation and distillation clearly
• Adapt presentations for consumers, professionals and international visitors
• Respond to visitor questions accurately and confidently
• Introduce BidCo products and provide basic sales support
• Coordinate tour schedules with internal teams
• Help maintain a safe, organized and welcoming visitor environment
• Collect feedback and contribute to improving the visitor experience
• Support relevant marketing, communications and social-media activities
Candidate Profile
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable speaking to individuals and small groups
• Professional, reliable and willing to learn
• Interest in agriculture, fragrance, hospitality, education or tourism
• Interest in developing sales and marketing capabilities
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
• Available for scheduled visits, including selected weekends
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, sales or public speaking is beneficial but not essential.
Training in agarwood, estate operations and BidCo products will be provided.
