Job Summary
The Training Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs, including both classroom and on-the-job training. This role requires a strategic thinker who can assess training needs, create engaging content, and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Responsibilities
Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and requirements.
Develop and deliver classroom-based and on-the-job training programs for skilled trade and manufacturing roles.
Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and assessments.
Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring adequate resources and facilities are available.
Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
Maintain training records and documentation.
Stay current with industry best practices and training methodologies.
Collaborate with department managers to align training with business goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs in a manufacturing or skilled trade environment.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
Ability to assess training needs and develop effective solutions.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Work Environment
This position is based in Snowflake, AZ, and requires a combination of classroom instruction and on-the-job training within the manufacturing facility. Some travel may be required for training or professional development.
