Transport Administrator – Paisley We are seeking an experienced, detailed oriented and organised Transport Administrator to
join our team
.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the transport operations, administration duties and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining a high level of productivity while working within time constraints.
Ensuring
customer satisfaction
& enhancing customer experience through
effective communication
.
Booking on jobs and assisting with routing of service vehicles.
Liaising with external contractors to secure additional operatives if required.
Cross trained in all areas and assisting and understanding of other Transport Administrators roles and providing cover when required. Raising PO’s from sub- contractors, PO’s for transport loads dispatched by external hauliers and suppliers. Updating financial spreadsheet with movements and all PO’s  Managing 3rd Party incoming & outgoing works. Other Ad hoc Administration tasks.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Some years of experience in customer service and administrative duties within the transport industry Excellent
communication
and interpersonal skills
Exceptional IT skills
Good geographical knowledge of local region
Excellent organisational and administration skills
