About Us:
Peace Frogs Travel/Outfitters is the only high-touch travel goods store and full-service travel agency in central Virginia.
We are looking for a Travel Concierge /Office Administrator to be a key part of our team. This role is a full-time position (30-35 hours), essential in shaping the overall customer experience throughout the travel planning process as well as maintaining the administrative functions in the office. Retail experience is also appreciated.

Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, assisting with the initial consultation process, and finalizing travel documents and trip planning details at the back end.
- Back-of-House Support: Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate records, processing payments, commission tracking, and assisting with bookkeeping duties.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure all client needs are met in a timely and organized manner. Fully trained as a packing specialist to cover retail on an as-needed basis.
We’re Looking For: someone who thrives in a dynamic, demanding environment and is eager to take on a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities:
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in retail or the travel industry is a plus. You must be comfortable interacting with clients and providing personalized service.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You enjoy speaking with people and can engage clients in a friendly, professional manner.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Initiative-taker: A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.
- Bookkeeping/Administrative Skills: Experience with basic bookkeeping and administrative tasks is highly desired.
- Travel experience.
Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour
