Practice Highlights:
– We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am-6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am-2:00pm.
– We recommend our clients to schedule appointment, but will see walk-ins if the schedule permits.
– We offer bathing and boarding.
Job Description:
The Veterinary Receptionist – Client Services Specialist will play a vital role in maintaining strong relationships with our clients by handling essential communication tasks. This position is ideal for someone with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping both people and animals. If you have strong communication skills, a passion for animals, and enjoy working in a dynamic and compassionate setting, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct follow-up calls to clients regarding their appointments from the previous day to check on patient progress and answer any questions.
– Confirm upcoming appointments via phone, email, or text.
– Communicate lab results and ensure all client inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
– Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere in the clinic.
– Manage phone calls and emails, providing accurate information or redirecting to the appropriate team members.
– Maintain accurate client and patient records using our practice management software.
– Assist with scheduling appointments, handling payments, and other front desk duties as needed.
– Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide seamless client and patient care.
– Communicate effectively and work as part as a team.
– Experience with Cornerstone is a plus.
Qualifications:
– Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or customer service role preferred but not required.
– Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Organized and detail-oriented.
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
– Compassion for animals and their owners.
– Proficient in basic computer skills.
– Previous experience in a veterinary or customer service role is a plus but not required.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $16 – $20/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
