Job Summary

The Vice Principal serves as a vital member of the school’s leadership team. Working closely with the Principal, you will oversee daily school operations, shape academic policies, manage student discipline, and support our dedicated teaching staff. The ideal candidate is a visionary educator with strong management skills and a passion for student success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Leadership & Curriculum Support

  • Supervise Teachers: Observe classrooms, provide constructive feedback, and conduct annual teacher evaluations.
  • Curriculum Management: Help design, review, and implement high-quality educational programs that align with modern standards.
  • Professional Development: Organize training workshops to help teachers adopt innovative teaching methods and technology.

2. Student Affairs & Discipline

  • Foster Culture: Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful school environment that promotes school spirit.
  • Manage Discipline: Handle student behavior issues fairly, consistently, and in accordance with school policies.
  • Support Services: Oversee student guidance counseling, extracurricular clubs, sports, and special events.

3. Daily Operations & Administration

  • School Logistics: Manage daily scheduling, teacher substitution plans, and morning assembly routines.
  • Resource Management: Help manage school budgets, educational materials, and campus facilities.
  • Safety Protocols: Implement and monitor school safety plans, including emergency drills.

4. Community & Parent Engagement

  • Communication: Act as a bridge between the school administration, parents, and the local community.
  • Parent Relations: Meet with parents to resolve academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns regarding their children.
  • Public Relations: Represent the school at community events, orientations, and open houses.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a relevant academic field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of successful teaching experience, plus at least 2–3 years in a school leadership or administrative role (e.g., Head of Department, Coordinator).
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technology: Proficient with School Management Systems and educational technology.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
