Function:

Assist in a variety of general office functions specifically in the Warehouse Department.

Essential Duties and Competencies:

Warehouse

Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks and checking in merchandise

Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders to determine items to be moved or shelved

Sorting and placing material or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style ,color or product code

Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method

Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program

Assisting in counting of physical inventory

Prepares parcels for mailing

Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

General Office

Scans, faxes and copies documentation to appropriate recipients

Participates in special projects assigned by direct supervisor

· Establishes and maintains safety operations by adhering to procedures and policies

Completes housekeeping around work areas as assigned.

Performs other related duties as assigned by superiors

Education/Experience:

2 years of equivalent experience in the related fields or business management.

Certificate(s):

Additional training qualifications and certificates will be advantageous.

Familiar with Microsoft Office

Computer skills

Familiar with office equipment: computers, fax machine, copier, scanner, etc.

Demonstrate discretion, integrity, fair-mindedness with sensitivity to and maintenance of confidential information

Self starter who works independently with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Able to communicate well with the any level of management
