Workday Consultant – People Systems | Core HCM & Talent Management
About the Role
We are looking for a Workday Consultant – People Systems to support and enhance Workday solutions across Core HCM and Talent Management. The successful candidate will act as a functional SME, partnering with HR and business stakeholders to resolve system issues, deliver enhancements, and drive continuous improvement across People Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Workday SME for Core HCM and Talent Management processes and solutions.
- Support Workday configuration, enhancements, change requests, and issue resolution.
- Perform Workday system administration, including security, complex reporting, EIBs, and bulk data processing.
- Support Workday testing, UAT, releases, fixes, and new feature implementations.
- Gather business requirements and conduct fit-gap analysis and solution design.
- Partner with regional and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable People Systems solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system optimization.
- Prepare system documentation, user procedures, guidelines, and training materials.
- Support change management and user adoption activities where required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience.
- Strong functional experience in Core HCM and Talent Management.
- Experience supporting 1–2 Workday implementations in Core HCM and/or Talent Management.
- Strong knowledge of Workday configuration, business processes, testing, and UAT.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Workday Reporting & Analytics
- EIB
- Workday Security
- Business Process Configuration
- Data Management
- Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
