Product Ownership & Governance

  • Own assigned Workday product areas, including product vision, backlog, priorities and continuous improvement roadmap.
  • Partner with Group and Regional HR to ensure solutions align with global HR strategy, processes, governance and business needs.
  • Prioritise enhancements, defects and improvement opportunities based on business value, user impact and risk.
  • Provide primary or secondary product coverage as ownership rotates across the team.

Functional Solution & Configuration

  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions and functional designs.
  • Lead or perform Workday configuration, testing and deployment of approved enhancements and process changes.
  • Balance global standardisation with legitimate local business and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess cross-product, data, reporting, integration and security impacts of proposed changes.

Product Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Own resolution of complex Workday incidents, defects and service requests, including root-cause analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate HR processes through Workday and connected technologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement by addressing recurring issues, user pain points and product technical debt.

Release, Data & Technology

  • Coordinate Workday releases, functional testing, business readiness and post-release validation.
  • Support HR data quality, reporting and integration requirements within assigned product areas.
  • Apply Workday security, access and compliance principles and assess downstream impacts of product changes.

Stakeholder & Delivery Partnership

  • Build strong relationships with Group HR, Regional HR, IT, HR process owners and external partners.
  • Act as a trusted Workday advisor, translating technical capabilities and limitations into practical business solutions.
  • Lead or contribute to global HRIS projects, transformations, acquisitions and other strategic initiatives.
  • Work with vendors and implementation partners to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Support user adoption through guidance, knowledge sharing and training where relevant.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on Workday HCM configuration and business process experience.
  • Experience in Workday product ownership, HRIS or HR technology, including requirements analysis, solution design and continuous improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across regions and cultures.
  • Experience with Workday releases, testing, data, integrations, security and system governance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a global environment.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR technology, Workday or HR process roles, preferably in an international organisation.
  • Fluent in English.
