Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admin & HR Executive to join our Pune office. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that combines human resources, finance support, and office administration. You will serve as a central point of coordination — ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting employees across their lifecycle, and helping the business stay on top of its receivables, payments, and financial processes. The role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to grow into broader responsibilities, including full payroll and statutory compliance management over time.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounts:
- Manage accounts receivable end-to-end — raising invoices, tracking outstanding payments, and following up with clients on collections.
- Maintain accurate records of receivables and payments and prepare periodic ageing and status reports for management.
- Process vendor payments, track expenses, and support reconciliation of accounts.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and coordinate with the external accountant and auditor as required.
Human Resources & People Operations:
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new joiners — documentation, appointment letters, induction, and setup.
- Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support recruitment coordination, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
- Manage attendance, leave tracking, and employee documentation.
- Take ownership of payroll processing, salary disbursement, and PF and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS) over time.
Office Administration:
- Oversee daily office administration, facilities, and supplies for the Pune office.
- Manage vendor coordination and maintain general administrative records and documentation.
- Handle travel bookings — flight and train tickets, hotels, and related logistics for the team.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 2–4 years of experience in an admin, HR, or accounts/finance support role; blended experience is a strong advantage.
- Working knowledge of accounts receivable, invoicing, and basic finance and bookkeeping processes.
- Familiarity with HR processes such as onboarding, documentation, and record management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets; comfort with payroll or HR software (e.g., Zoho) is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A self-starter attitude, with the ability to prioritise and work independently in a lean team.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Exposure to payroll administration and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS).
