Our client is a global master developer behind one of Asia's most prestigious and ambitious waterfront urban development projects. Located in Colombo, this multi-billion dollar master-planned district is designed to become a thriving commercial, residential, and lifestyle hub.
We are seeking a highly presentable, energetic, and organized Administration Executive (Business Development) to support client relations, coordinate administrative functions, and facilitate smooth operations at the flagship sales gallery.
Role Summary
This is a versatile entry-level position that sits at the intersection of business administration, client service, and sales enablement. The successful candidate will support day-to-day operations at our world-class sales gallery, assist with client onboarding, liaise with external stakeholders, and support business development and event initiatives.
This role offers a unique opportunity for high-potential fresh graduates to gain exposure to international business environments and grow within an elite global developer network.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relations & Business Development Support
- Client Point of Contact: Serve as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for high-profile investors, corporate clients, and visitors at the sales gallery.
- Lead Management: Maintain and systematically update sales lead databases, utilizing Microsoft Excel to track prospective investor interactions and pipeline progress.
- Business Development Assistance: Assist the BD team with client presentations, project introductions, sales tours, and occasional marketing outreach.
- Event Execution: Coordinate and assist in the setup and smooth execution of investor briefings, corporate events, and VIP visits.
2. Onboarding & Corporate Support
- Registration Coordination: Assist incoming corporate clients with company registration processes, including the preparation, compilation, and tracking of statutory legal and operational documents.
- External Liaison: Coordinate with government departments, municipal authorities, and other key external stakeholders to facilitate administrative approvals.
3. Sales Gallery & Operational Administration
- Boutique Operations: Manage the daily operational readiness of the sales gallery, ensuring a pristine, professional, and well-maintained customer-facing environment.
- Vendor & Procurement Coordination: Liaise with vendors for facility maintenance, office procurement, corporate gifting, and other operational necessities.
- Ad-Hoc Support: Handle general office management tasks, document archiving, and other administrative tasks as assigned by the leadership team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, English, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Fresh graduates or professionals with less than 2 years of working experience in corporate administration, hospitality, guest relations, or sales coordination.
- Linguistic Versatility: Flawless spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement.
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a highly valued asset (highly advantageous for facilitating regional stakeholder communications).
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (ability to work with formulas and manage basic data sets).
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication, presentation, and active-listening skills. The candidate must have a client-facing mindset with a polished, professional appearance.
- Work Ethic: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. A proactive, reliable attitude with a willingness to support occasional after-hours corporate events.
