Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $32.50/hour + 4% vacation pay
  • Mileage Reimbursement: $0.74/km
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (including 30-minute lunch)

Overview

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant III to support the Capital Projects Planning team. This role reports to the Director of Capital Project Planning and provides day-to-day administrative and operational support across multiple departments within Ontario Operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized professional with experience in a corporate environment and strong administrative capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data processing and reporting
  • Maintaining inventory of general office supplies
  • Supporting expense reporting (including processing expenses for team members)
  • Providing travel planning support
  • Coordinating and supporting events
  • Assisting with general team requests (TIS, HR, Real Estate)
  • Supporting multiple office locations, with occasional travel as needed

Qualifications

  • College diploma, certificate, or equivalent in:
  • Administrative Support
  • Business
  • Finance
  • Human Resources
  • or a related field
  • Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Word & Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Comfortable working in a large corporate environment (preferred)
  • Outgoing, proactive, and willing to learn business processes

Additional Requirements

G Licence

  • Valid driver’s abstract required during onboarding (due to occasional travel to other offices or off-site meetings/events)
  • Ability to handle occasional pre-approved expenses and expense processing
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings or events

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role with minimal travel
  • Occasional travel to other office locations or offsite meetings/events
