Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated administrative assistant to work with our construction inspectors and project managers. This position is expected to work in the Tampa office.
Responsibilities Include
- Prepares correspondence, reports, proposals, contracts, meeting agendas/summaries, etc.
- Assisting project managers with project setup and RFIs
- Enforcing corporate style standards
- Maintain project and office data files
- Assists in preparing project status and financial reports
- Assist with data entry
- Assists project managers with project billing and collection
- Maintaining schedules, meetings, and travel for staff as needed
- Assist with production efforts, such as printing and quality control
A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- An associate degree (or higher) in a business administration, English, communication, or related field and at least two (2) years of relevant office experience
- OR—
- If no degree, must have at least four (4) years of relevant office experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
- Working with construction projects and/or staff
- Preparing project status reports or other project related communications
- QA/QC for reports, correspondence, contracts, etc.
- Providing support to project managers
- Assisting with meetings (note taking, meeting minutes, etc.)
